TERRE HAUTE — The following individuals were booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Wednesday and Thursday, based on jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.


Daymon P. Langley, 23, 1800 block of North 13th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 11:50 a.m. Habitual traffic violator.

Bruce R. Lawrence, 62, transient, Terre Haute. Booked 3:21 p.m. Failure to register as a sex/violent offender and check deception.

Reginald Fields, 26, 100 block of Gilbert Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 3:33 p.m. Domestic battery.

Shawntel M. Brown, 20, 1000 block of Gilbert Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 4:03 p.m. Domestic battery.

Robert A. Rooksberry, 45, 2900 block of North Seventh Street, Terre Haute. Booked 5 p.m. Receiving stolen property.

Stevie R. Poinsett, 20, 10 block of Ridgecrest Court, Terre Haute. Booked 5:20 p.m. Criminal conversion.

Edward E. Bailey, 61, 2200 block of Crawford Street, Terre Haute. Booked 5:52 p.m. Aggravated battery.

Brenda J. Bailey, 60, 2200 block of Crawford Street, Terre Haute. Booked 6:21 p.m. Battery.

Archie E. Updike, 43, 2700 block of Fenwood Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 11:54 p.m. Domestic battery and criminal confinement.


Steven W. Crawford, 49, 1800 block of Woodlawn Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 3:52 a.m. Probation violation.
