Vigo County Jail Log: Dec. 20, 2013

TERRE HAUTE — The following individuals were booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Thursday and Friday, based on jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.


Tracey L. Shaffer, 41, 200 block of West Wheeler Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 3:59 p.m. Invasion of privacy.

Amy L. Alderton, 45, 600 block of College Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 8:48 p.m. Operating while intoxicated.

George Bays III, 29, 900 block of Eighth Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 9:04 p.m. Dealing methamphetamine.


David Phillips, 22, 200 block of North 15th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 12:11 a.m. False reporting/informing, criminal trespassing and parole violation.

Joey N. Allen, 28, 2100 block of Blaine Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 2:55 a.m. Possession of methamphetamine, habitual traffic violator and dealing methamphetamine.

Eddie J. Walton, 53, Terre Haute. Booked 3:11 a.m. Criminal trespassing.

Raul Sanchez-Ramirez, 30, 10 block of Oak Street, Terre Haute. Booked 3:31 a.m. Driver never licensed and operating while intoxicated.

Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
