Vigo County Jail Log: March 20, 2013

TERRE HAUTE — The following individuals were booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Tuesday and Wednesday, based on jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

Tuesday

Rick A. Bradbery, 47, 10000 block of East Toney Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 9:31 a.m. Failure to appear and battery-domestic.

Larry R. Mikawa, 45, 300 block of South Osage Street, Independence, Mo. Booked 10:29 a.m. Court order.

Kyle S. Jackson, 27, 800 block of North 13th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 3:52 p.m. Failure to appear.

George R. Piker, 54, 3500 block of West Indiana 246, Farmersburg. Booked 11:29 p.m. Possession of animal for fighting and possession of animal fighting paraphernalia.

Wednesday

Keon M. Turner, 28, 3100 block of West Grandville Avenue, Waukegan, Ill. Booked 12:12 a.m. Possession of marijuana/hash.

Christina L. Okpala, 25, 4200 block of South Avery Street, Terre Haute. Booked 1:28 a.m. Battery-domestic.

Randy W. Dispennett, 42, 300 block of West Miller Avenue, West Terre Haute. Booked 1:33 a.m. Failure to appear.

Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
