A resurfacing project on Interstate 70 will periodically close ramps at U.S. 231 (Cloverdale exit) beginning Saturday and lasting through Oct. 25.
Indiana Department of Transportation spokesman Debbie Calder said the ramps will be closed to allow milling and resurfacing, according to this schedule:
• westbound I-70 exit ramp to U.S. 231, closing at 6 a.m. Saturday through 6 a.m. Sunday.
• U.S. 231 on ramp to westbound I-70, closing at 6 a.m. Sunday through 6 a.m. Monday.
• westbound I-70 exit ramp to U.S. 231, closing at 6 a.m. Tuesday through 6 a.m. Oct. 24
• U.S. 231 on ramp to westbound I-70, closing at 6 a.m. Oct. 24 through 6 a.m. Oct. 25.
The project will resurface the interstate from U.S. 231 east to Little Point. This project, awarded to Rieth-Riley Construction for $10.49 million, is scheduled for completion in November.
