Indiana blood drives canceled Jan. 8

News Release

---- — All Indiana Blood Center mobile blood drives statewide are canceled today.

The Terre Haute donor center is also closed.

Indiana Blood Center will distribute media updates regarding donor center and blood drive availability and hours each day through Sunday, at which time the organization hopes to return to normal operations following this winter storm.

On Tuesday, Indiana Blood Center was unable to provide some 50 units requested from area hospitals. Hoosiers unable to visit Wednesday are encouraged to do so later in the week. Appointments for open donor centers can be made at indianablood.org or by calling 800-632-4722 or 317-916-5150. Walk-ins are also welcome.
