181 Intelligence Wing continues storm assistance

---- — Since Saturday, the 181st Intelligence Wing has been providing disaster assistance to the people of Indiana who have been affected by storm Ion. The Racers are providing liaison officers to 81 Troop Command as well as Emergency Management agencies in Vigo and Putnam counties.

The 181 IW, 113th Air Support Operations Squadron is providing three Highway Assistance Teams postured for 24-hour support. There are currently ASOS members providing emergency assistance in Vigo and Putnam counties. The 181 IW ASOS members have conducted multiple missions, including rescuing stranded motorists and assisting emergency management teams reach their destinations.
