Three Terre Haute residents were arrested Thursday after Indiana State Police received a tip about methamphetaine activity a a house in the 1400 block of South Ninth Street.
At about noon, troopers located items commonly associated with the manufacture of methamphetaine in the home. They also found a Harrington and Richardson .410-caliber shotgun that had been reported stolen in Oregon in 1977.
Arrested were 30-year-old William “B.J.” Pine, 31-year-old Brandy Pine and 28-year-old Michael Shafer. They were booked into the Vigo County Jail.
B.J. Pine faces charges of manufacturing methamphetaine, a class-B felony; possession of methamphetaine, a class-C felony; and possession of precursors, dumping illegal waste, and maintaining a common nuisance, all class-D felonies. He was to appear in Vigo Superior Court 3 today.
Brandy Pine was arrested on a Vigo County warrant for child support, a class-D felony.
Shafer was arrested for visiting a common nuisance, a class-A misdemeanor.
No court date information was available for Shafer or Brandy Pine.
