Couple jailed on meth charges

Farmersburg duo being held in Sullivan County Jail

SULLIVAN — A Farmersburg couple remained in the Sullivan County jail Tuesday after a methamphetamine bust Monday afternoon led by Indiana State Police.

Amber Anderson, 24, and Adam Arnett, 29, each is accused of five class-D felonies: manufacturing meth, possession of meth, possession of precursors, possession of paraphernalia and maintaining a common nuisance.

Anderson’s bail is $48,000 with 10 percent allowable. She is scheduled to appear Sept. 12 in Sullivan Superior Court.

Arnett’s bail is $48,000 with no 10 percent allowed, and he is slated to appear Sept. 26 in Sullivan Circuit Court.

A person convicted of a class-D felony can be imprisoned up to three years and fined a maximum of $10,000 for each count.

State Police serving a search warrant Friday allegedly found items and substances related to the manufacturing, possession or use of meth. According to police, the final product from a meth lab was in its last stage of the production process when the search warrant was served.
