On Wednesday, WFXW television Channel 38 was still not broadcasting despite hopes the station’s problems could be fixed by the beginning of May.
“It’s been very frustrating,” said Duane Lammers, general manager of WTWO and WFXW. “It’s been a series of things and we just can’t seem to get it isolated. We’ve spent about $60,000 or $70,000 at this point … I know people are frustrated but we’re doing the best that we can.”
Over-the-air transmissions of WFXW were lost in mid-April, Lammers said. Viewers who do not have Dish Network, cable or a digital television with over-the-air receiving capability need to make other arrangements for watching Channel 38 broadcasts, the WTWO/WFXW Web site states.
Updates on efforts to repair over-the-air transmission of WFXW are available online at www.mywabashvalley.com.
