Head-on crash sends several to hospitals

A head-on car accident on Indiana 63 in southern Vigo County Friday afternoon resulted in several people being transported to the hospital.
The accident, which occurred on a curve in the two-lane highway known for accidents, involved two autos and resulted in two people being transported to Riley Hospital in Indianapolis and two others being taken to other hospitals.
At least one person involved in the accident signed a release refusing medical attention.
The collision took place on a twisting section of Indiana 63 near Sutliff Drive, which is about mid-way between Prairieton and Prairie Creek in southern Vigo County.
The Vigo County Sheriff’s Department, which responded to the scene, had no further information available late Friday night.

Again: There was yet another automobile accident on State Road 63 just south of Sutliff drive. Friday afternoon the two cars hit head on after the white car drifted left of center according to law enforcemnent officials at the scene. Four people were taken away by ambulance with two of those going to Riley Hospital in Indianapolis. The Tribune-Star
