Police looking for WTH gas station robber

WEST TERRE HAUTE — Authorities were looking for a man who robbed the West Terre Haute Marathon gas station around 2 a.m. Wednesday.

West Terre Haute Chief of Police Mark Arnold said the man displayed a large hunting knife to the clerk and demanded the cash register drawer.

Arnold said the clerk gave him the money, and the robber demanded a second drawer, but left on foot upon seeing it was empty. The suspect is described as a white male, about 6 feet tall, wearing a blue plaid inflatable coat and blue boxer shorts, with white diamonds on his head along with a stocking cap.
