Police discover meth lab, arrest five people

Five people were arrested after officers allegedly discovered a methamphetamine lab in Clinton in the bathroom of a mobile home Tuesday night.
Around 9:45 p.m., officers arrested Danniel L. Miller, 24, of Clinton, Brandy Elaine Walker, 27, of Marshall, Ind., Tony D. Judy, 28, of Hillsdale, Andrew J. Elkins, 27, of Clinton, and Eric J. Lang, 25, of Montezuma on allegations of manufacturing meth, possession of meth, possession of anhydrous ammonia, possession of anhydrous ammonia in an unapproved container, possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia and maintaining a common nuisance, according to a Vermillion County Sheriff’s Department news release.
Miller resided in the mobile home.
The Department of Child and Family Services were called to remove two children, ages 2 and 3, from the home. They were placed in the custody of relatives.
Those arrested were in the Vermillion County jail in Newport, initially without bail.
