Anarchy is in the ‘tea’ leaves

The “TEA” as in “tea party” really means Total Economic Anarchy, which is the ultra-right extremist design for the destruction of American government, economy and freedom. Tea party fanatics disguise their motives with loud, unrelenting distortion, deception and diversion; smoke and mirrors.

They would have you believe that deficit spending is a liberal fault, but truth is otherwise. G.W. Bush inherited a robust growth economy from a progressive administration and a budget surplus. There was no deficit. Bush gave tax breaks twice to greedy affluent supporters, and then on bogus claims initiated unwarranted war on Iraq and double-dipped into government credit to pay for his war and its reparations.

Anyone can see that such fairyland economics created the deficit and crashed the economy, and that regressive conservative obstruction prolongs economic misery for millions of Americans.

Now we are again under economic siege by tea party anarchists. But the simple truth is that the services, freedoms and liberties we give ourselves through our constitutional government — opportunity, security, roads and infrastructure, preserving our heritage, society and way of life, and help in time of need — don’t just happen. We Americans, all of us, assure our rights by governing ourselves. But the federal government we created for ourselves is not some abstract entity in Washington, D.C. It is us.

We pay for the protections and services we provide for ourselves through self-imposed taxation. Freeloading tea party anarchists take and spend, but then stubbornly refuse to pay the bills and burden the rest of us. We are fond of saying that freedom is not free, but paying our government’s bills through equitable taxation is a responsibility of American freedom. When tea party anarchists take economic hostage of our government, their immature disregard for the responsibilities of being free Americans, take my freedom from me and yours from you.
