TERRE HAUTE — Cab driver was kind, gracious

I would like to express my appreciation to and for the driver of the Yellow Cab Co. Last Monday, the driver picked me up at the medical office building and drove me to my home address. About an hour later the gentleman knocked at my door and handed me my wallet which I had accidentally left in the taxi. Actually during the drive to my address the gentleman was kind, gracious and had a good sense of humor.

I do not know the driver’s name and the company was unable to tell me what his name was. I do remember he had a black memorial bracelet on his right wrist with the name of the Terre Haute policeman, Brent Long, who was killed on duty.

The gentleman deserves to be thanked publicly. Appreciation for his honesty and kindness does not fully express my thanks as well to the Yellow Cab Co. who employs such a wonderful employee.

Proud that T-S

honored carrier

I am very happy that Paul Brown has been named Carrier of the Month. Since he delivers my Tribune-Star before I awake, I have never seen him so I am delighted to see what this wonderful carrier looks like.

I have talked to Mr. Brown on several occasions and he has always been very accommodating and helpful. I hope that he will continue to be my carrier for years to come.
