TERRE HAUTE —

Gratitude to all who helped

On July 25, 2012 our dad, Johnny Wilson, was diagnosed with Stage 4 Glioblastoma (a malignant, primary brain tumor). Out of this incredible heartache has come a realization that we already knew, but has been magnified to such an extent that there are not words to truly describe it. That is, how incredibly blessed we are to have such amazing family and friends and to live in such a giving community.

We would like to thank everyone who had a part in the benefit that was held in our dad’s honor on Sept. 1 at the Sandcut Volunteer Fire Department. Our family would like to offer our sincere thanks and utmost gratitude to each person who helped with, attended or made a donation to the event.

Individuals and businesses from Clinton, Brazil, Terre Haute and other surrounding communities were so giving and showed such kindness with their support and donations. Additionally, we know for some your generosity was a hardship and our heartfelt thanks to you as well.

On behalf of my dad, Johnny, and his wife, Retta, her daughters, Melissa Kellett and Amanda Sereno, my brother, Bronson Wilson, and myself I once again offer a sincere thank you to family, friends and the entire community. The outpouring of love and support has truly touched our hearts in a way that we are unable to express.

Thank you for helping to celebrate and support an amazing husband, father, grandfather, son, grandson, brother and friend.

Website tracks campaign donors

Nathan Bridwell of Jasonville wanted to know who is contributing large campaign donations to the various candidates running for office in Indiana. Here is the website where this information is reported: campaignfinance.in.gov/PublicSite/Homepage.aspx.

You search for the candidate; and from there this site provides the names and addresses of all large campaign donors to that candidate. From there you can Google the donor’s name and city and state, and find out who they are and what they do and perhaps why they would give such large amounts of money to the candidate.
