Helen E. Stone

Helen E. Stone, 79, of Terre Haute passed away early Saturday morning July 4, 2009 in Union Hospital. She was born on Nov. 6, 1929 in Terre Haute to Jason and Ollie (Key) Kintner.

Helen worked at Quaker Maid for 27 years and later retired from Indiana State University after 13 years of custodian work. She loved boating and being on the water as well as taking photo’s.

She is survived by a daughter, Cherie K. Lewis and her husband Joseph C. of Terre Haute, a sister Cleo Henry of Indianapolis, four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Billy E. Stone; special friend, Oliver Campbell, and several brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday in Roselawn Funeral Home. Services are 6 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home with Pastor Kyle Andrews officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park.
