Vigo County Jail Log: June 20, 2014

TERRE HAUTE — The following individuals were booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Thursday and Friday, based on jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

Thursday

Kenneth R. Pitts, 51, 1500 block of North 30th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 9:40 a.m. Dealing methamphetamine and failure to appear.

Christopher D. Herron, 30, 1500 block of South Seventh Street, Terre Haute. Booked 9:45 a.m. Visiting a common nuisance.

Renee Ball, 50, 800 block of South 18th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 9:57 a.m. Dealing methamphetamine.

Teresa S. Crews, 41, 1500 block of North 28th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 10:11 a.m. Dealing methamphetamine, criminal conversion and visiting a common nuisance.

James W. Ellingsworth, 56, 1100 block of Harbor Boulevard, Port Charlotte, Fla. Booked 10:42 a.m. Failure to appear and public intoxication.

Jacob E. Lowe, 38, 800 block of Walnut Street, Clinton. Booked 10:43 a.m. Possession of methamphetamine (two counts), possession of paraphernalia, maintaining a common nuisance (two counts) and dealing methamphetamine.

Robert L. Rivard, 23, 100 block of North Sixth Street, West Terre Haute. Booked 12:51 p.m. Possession of firearm by violent felon, motor vehicle theft and possession of paraphernalia.

Sara Pruett, 25, 3700 block of East Phillips Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 2:05 p.m. Probation violation.

Anthony J. Bolin, 27, 1600 block of First Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 8:09 p.m. Strangulation and battery.

Crystal M. Thompson, 32, 1600 block of First Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 9:12 p.m. Strangulation and battery.

Amber N. Decker, 29, 3900 block of South County Road 150 West, Greencastle. Booked 9:28 p.m. Criminal conversion.

Gerald L. Gilbert, 43, 1600 block of Sycamore Street, Terre Haute. Booked 9:29 p.m. Habitual traffic violator.

Friday

Frank D. Porter, 38, 2300 block of North 28th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 1:20 a.m. Failure to appear.

Mary E. Ousky, 34, 1400 block of Elm Street, Terre Haute. Booked 5:51 a.m. Criminal trespassing.

Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
