Vigo County Jail Log: June 12, 2014

TERRE HAUTE — The following individuals were booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Wednesday and Thursday, based on jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.


Lacey J. Bigler, 32, 1400 block of South 18th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 6:12 a.m. Operating while intoxicated and driver never licensed.

Harry J. Laycock, 45, 200 block of South Hobson Place, West Terre Haute. Booked 10:33 a.m. Battery.

Eric D. Shook, 32, 7200 block of Woodcraft Lane, Terre Haute. Booked 11:10 a.m. Failure to appear.

Felicia N. Roberts, 22, 1400 block of Barber Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 11:19 a.m. Failure to appear.

Jacob S. Johnson, 26, 1600 block of Elmhurst Drive, Indianapolis. Booked 11:47 a.m. Court order (two counts).

David L. Scank, 35, 200 block of South 11th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 1:49 p.m. Rape.

Kacie N. Robertson, 24, 300 block of East Springwood Drive, Dana. Booked 3:41 p.m. Bond revocation.

Kevin A. Evans, 22, 2300 block of South Seventh Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 4:47 p.m. probation violation, trafficking with inmate and possession of controlled substance.

Martin J. Miller, 55, 5300 block of East Hulman Street, Terre Haute. Booked 4:58 p.m. Resisting law enforcement and operating while intoxicated.

Corye L. Beville, 36, 4200 block of Wabash Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 7:06 p.m. Check fraud.

Brandon M. Switzer, 29, 200 block of North Ninth Street, West Terre Haute. Booked 10:12 p.m. Battery.


Derek J. Anderson, 28, 300 block of North 14th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 2:45 a.m. Battery.

Wayne R. Compton, 26, 300 block of South Third Street, Terre Haute. Booked 3:13 a.m. Failure to appear.

Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
