Vigo County Jail Log: May 1, 2014

TERRE HAUTE — The following individuals were booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Wednesday and Thursday, based on jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.


Jeffery L. Hickman, 31, 3800 block of College Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 1:11 a.m. Criminal conversion.

Trey M. Sebring, 27, 600 block of Grant Street, Terre Haute. Booked 8:30 a.m. Theft and court order.

Caleb Strassler, 20, 2500 block of East Thomas Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 10:13 a.m. Failure to appear.

Jonathan Aguilar, 26, 1700 block of East Oregon Church Road, Terre Haute. Booked 10:54 a.m. Battery.

Larry M. Faulkner, 31, 600 block of Cherry Street, Terre Haute. Booked 12:50 p.m. Criminal trespassing.

Camron J. Banghart, 19, 400 block of East Street, Sebastian, Fla. Booked 1:16 p.m. Obstructing justice.

Tammie R. Akers, 51, 800 block of West Paris Avenue, West Terre Haute. Booked 1:43 p.m. Failure to appear.

Monica N. Bass, 36, 1700 block of North 30th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 4:28 p.m. Criminal conversion.

Alexander Thomas, 28, 1800 block of Tawney Lane, Avon. Booked 5 p.m. Failure to appear (two counts).

Malcolm M. Pettis, 23, 1600 block of Tippecanoe Street, Terre Haute. Booked 7:13 p.m. Habitual traffic violator.

Joseph A. Plunkett, 30, 500 block of South 24th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 11:52 p.m. Probation violation, possession of methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia.

Tracy A. Howell, 39, 3800 block of Larimer Drive, West Terre Haute. Booked 11:52 p.m. Dealing methamphetamine and possession of chemical reagents/precursors.


Jennifer L. Burcham, 31, 200 block of Glin Drive, Gallipolis, Ohio. Booked 1:07 a.m. Possession of controlled substance.

Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
