Vigo County Jail Log: March 7, 2014

TERRE HAUTE — The following individuals were booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Thursday and Friday, based on jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.


Dustin W. Budd, 21, 2900 block of East Morris Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 7:25 a.m. Operating while intoxicated.

Kimberly L. Hughes, 44, 400 block of South 22nd Street, Terre Haute. Booked 2:29 p.m. Battery.

Joshua R. Coons, 22, 10000 block of East Railroad Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 4:31 p.m. Court order.

Harold L. Clemons, 56, 2100 block of Second Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 5:37 p.m. Invasion of privacy.

Megan R. Lehman, 19, 2200 block of Franklin Street, Terre Haute. Booked 5:48 p.m. Battery.

Leona P. Crowley, 47, 2300 block of North 24th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 6:36 p.m. Criminal conversion.

Shane A. Wheeler, 44, 2900 block of North Beecher Place, West Terre Haute. Booked 8:53 p.m. Possession of methamphetamine and possession of controlled substance.

David W. Wyrick, 49, 2900 block of South 12th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 9:51 p.m. Failure to appear (three counts) and probation violation.

James Holton, 38, 2900 block of North Seventh Street, Terre Haute. Booked 11:14 p.m. Burglary, possession of controlled substance and resisting law enforcement.


Jason L. Holland, 36, 2600 block of East Phylbeck Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 12:11 a.m. Habitual traffic violator and possession of marijuana/hash.

Alexandra R. McMasters, 22, 3100 block of North 26th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 3 a.m. Operating while intoxicated.

Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
