Vigo County Jail Log: Feb. 27, 2014

TERRE HAUTE — The following individuals were booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Wednesday and Thursday, based on jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.


Macailyn Brossman, 20, 1600 block of Loma Linda Road, West Terre Haute. Booked 9:52 a.m. Failure to appear.

John L. Chilton, 49, 3200 block of West Graceland Avenue, West Terre Haute. Booked 9:55 a.m. Failure to appear.

Jason A. Parker, 37, 10 block of Durkees Ferry Road, West Terre Haute. Booked 10:41 a.m. Court order.

Jason R. James, 36, 3700 block of East Beulah Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 11:14 a.m. Court order (two counts).

Jamia A. Clark, 38, 2200 block of Fifth Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 11:28 a.m. Criminal recklessness and criminal conversion.

Ashley A. Butler, 31, 3200 block of North 14th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 11:48 a.m. Criminal conversion.

Carl R. Parsons, 51, 600 block of West National Avenue, West Terre Haute. Booked 11:56 a.m. Possession of marijuana/hash and possession of paraphernalia.

William L. Adkins, 31, 1100 block of Seventh Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 2:21 p.m. Probation violation.

Natasha D. Mershon, 32, 2400 block of North 11th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 3:25 p.m. Forgery, bank fraud and check fraud.

Shane E. Wheeler, 40, 200 block of West Wheeler Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 3:37 p.m. Dealing marijuana/hash, maintaining a common nuisance, possession of marijuana/hash and possession of controlled substance.

David J. Hosford, 33, 3300 block of North Hyde Park Road, Mesquite, Mich. Booked 4:11 p.m. Failure to appear.

Demarcus L. Booker, 19, 2000 block of First Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 5:19 p.m. Robbery and possession of marijuana/hash.


Anthony Wilford, 47, 2200 block of Garfield Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 12:21 a.m. Invasion of privacy.

Rodney D. Woods, 54, 1100 block of South Eighth Street, Terre Haute. Booked 1:19 a.m. Public intoxication.

Elizabeth A. Johnson, 41, 200 block of North Eighth Street, West Terre Haute. Booked 3:45 a.m. Operating while intoxicated, domestic battery, possession of controlled substance and false reporting/informing.

Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
