TERRE HAUTE — The following individuals were booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Thursday and Friday, based on jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.


David M. Cunningham, 46, 8000 block of Arrowwood Court, Terre Haute. Booked 10:21 a.m. Possession of chemical reagents/precursors.

Penny A. Rogers, 24, 800 block of North Preston Place, West Terre Haute. Booked 11:07 a.m. Failure to appear.

Abigail M. Hansens, 24, 10 block of North Long Avenue, Attica. Booked 11:27 a.m. Probation violation.

Robert J. Shepard, 51, 2200 block of North 14th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 12:19 p.m. Probation violation.

Dane A. Archer, 32, 4500 block of South Gaslight Estate, Terre Haute. Booked 1:37 p.m. Parole violation.

Kelsey J. Whitman, 25, 300 block of South Ninth Street, Terre Haute. Booked 3:30 p.m. Failure to appear.

Michael Vicars-Goings, 29, 1500 block of South 20th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 4:08 p.m. Court order.

Richard A. Meneely, 36, 1400 block of East Crossing Boulevard, Terre Haute. Booked 4:28 p.m. Aggravated battery.

Larry M. Faulkner, 31, 600 block of Cherry Street, Terre Haute. Booked 5:19 p.m. Failure to appear.

Lee S. Benefiel, 34, 10500 block of South Beaver Street, Terre Haute. Booked 6:15 p.m. Battery and criminal recklessness.

Brett C. Royer, 22, 3100 block of North Eighth, Terre Haute. Booked 7:39 p.m. Failure to appear.

Clarence H. Fagg, 41, 800 block of West Paris Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 8:13 p.m. Public intoxication and disorderly conduct.

Jerry L. Wasnidge, 40, Freedom. Booked 9:44 p.m. Failure to appear.

Hope N. Bennett, 35, 2000 block of Plum Street, Terre Haute. Booked 9:57 p.m. Failure to appear.

Jason A. Essex, 26, 10200 block of Rosedale Road, Rosedale. Booked 10:34 p.m. Public intoxication.


Roy Charles, 20, 800 block of North Ninth Street, Terre Haute. Booked 2:23 a.m. Public intoxication and minor consuming.

Walter T. Orndorff, 42, 2000 block of North Seventh Street, Terre Haute. Booked 5:12 a.m. Burglary.

Chris A. Stephenson, 50, 600 block of North 14 1/2 Street, Terre Haute. Booked 6:24 a.m. Burglary.

Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
