Vigo County Jail Log: March 11, 2014

TERRE HAUTE — The following individuals were booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Monday and Tuesday, based on jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.


Terry J. Smith, 37, no address available. Booked 8:46 a.m. Court order.

Danny A. Goodwin, 23, 1100 block of Green Leaf, Terre Haute. Booked 12:40 p.m. Bond revocation.

Joshua B. Harris, 32, 700 block of South Eighth Street, Terre Haute. Booked 5:14 p.m. Failure to appear.

Ryan A. Baker, 23, 6300 block of North 35th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 6:05 p.m. Failure to appear.

David K. Rudisel, 31, 1400 block of South 18th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 10:26 p.m. Possession of weapon with altered identification, receiving stolen property, possession of marijuana/hash and possession of controlled substance.

Ashlee M. Melvin, 30, 1200 block of North Ninth Street, Terre Haute. Booked 10:48 p.m. Failure to appear.

Allen W. Orman, 28, 3000 block of South 9 1/2 Street, Terre Haute. Booked 11:28 p.m. Arson.


Mary M. Lee, 65, 1000 block of North Seventh Street, Terre Haute. Booked 12:14 a.m. Operating while intoxicated.

David L. Hammond, 24, 1500 block of Sixth Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 12:49 a.m. Domestic battery.

Darren J. Zaremba, 22, 3800 block of South Wellington Place, Terre Haute. Booked 2:43 a.m. Failure to appear.

Curtis S. Freeland, 28, 200 block of North 2225th Street, Dennison, Ill. Booked 3:01 a.m. Resisting law enforcement (two counts), leaving the scene of a property damage accident, possession of controlled substance (two counts), driving while suspended and reckless driving.

Michael A. Myers, 34, 5300 block of Estate Road, Terre Haute. Booked 4:51 a.m. Disorderly conduct.

Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
