Vigo County Jail Log: Feb. 20, 2014

TERRE HAUTE — The following individuals were booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Wednesday and Thursday, based on jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.


Joshua A. Thompson, 28, 1900 block of South 19th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 10:18 a.m. Court order.

John R. Johnston, 40, 2000 block of North 14th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 11:47 a.m. Habitual traffic violator.

Jessica S. Mercer, 23, 200 block of Deer Run Drive, Spencer. Booked 12:49 p.m. Failure to appear.

Zachary J. Farrell, 21, 200 block of North McQuillkin Place, West Terre Haute. Booked 1:41 p.m. Court order (two counts).

John J. Lydick, 42, 1400 block of South Sixth Street, Terre Haute. Booked 1:53 p.m. Possession of methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia.

Melissa J. Grayless, 40, 1700 block of North 24th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 3:27 p.m. Failure to appear (two counts).

Tracy L. Waters, 48, 200 block of West Wheeler Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 4:30 p.m. Criminal converison.

Dominick Iacobazzi, 65, 1200 block of Maple Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 4:49 p.m. Criminal conversion.

Nicole R. Pickett, 20, 2600 block of College Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 5:58 p.m. Criminal trespassing.

Trisha N. Miller, 22, 2400 block of East Harlan Drive, Terre Haute. Booked 6:37 p.m. Failure to appear.

Robert L. Smith II, 37, 2400 block of Second Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 6:53 p.m. Driving while suspended.

Eleshia D. Britton, 19, 400 block of Mulberry Street, Terre Haute. Booked 7:16 p.m. Criminal conversion.

Jerry Turner, 28, 2300 block of Hulman Street, Terre Haute. Booked 7:30 p.m. Domestic battery.

Kristen L. Webster, 30, 2900 block of Iaams Drive, Terre Haute. Booked 7:44 p.m. Domestic battery.

Nathan D. Haskins, 32, 7600 block of North 39th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 11:34 p.m. Operating while intoxicated.


Daniel L. Sappington, 21, 10 block of Evans, Terre Haute. Booked 12:22 a.m. Public intoxication, disorderly conduct and resisting law enforcement.

Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
