Vigo County Jail Log: Jan. 24, 2014

TERRE HAUTE — The following individuals were booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Thursday and Friday, based on jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

Thursday

Brandi M. Behning, 26, 8300 block of Punto Alto Drive, Indianapolis. Booked 12:36 p.m. Probation violation.

Anthony G. Sappenfield, 49, 1700 block of Lafayette Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 4 p.m. Aggravated battery.

Angel M. Booker, 32, 400 block of South 14th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 5:08 p.m. Theft.

Clinton B. Mackey, 33, 600 block of East 12th Street, Vinton, Iowa. Booked 6:08 p.m. Murder (two counts) and failure to appear.

Eddie J. Walton, 54, Terre Haute. Booked 7:07 p.m. Public intoxication and obstructing traffic.

Michael R. Creasey, 54, 4100 block of Old U.S. 40, West Terre Haute. Booked 7:55 p.m. Failure to appear.

Remington Diaz, 23, 1600 block of Locust Street, Terre Haute. Booked 8:30 p.m. Failure to appear.

Chad J. Overton, 39, 7100 block of East Devney Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 11:02 p.m. Operating while intoxicated.

Friday

Larry D. Eyre, 28, 15900 block of South 53rd Place, Prairie Creek. Booked 12:49 a.m. Domestic battery.

Sean E. Nathan, 38, 700 block of Antioch Circle, Terre Haute. Booked 2:05 a.m. Operating while intoxicated and leaving the scene of a property damage accident.

Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
