Vigo County Jail Log: Jan. 22, 2014

TERRE HAUTE — The following individuals were booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Tuesday and Wednesday, based on jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.


Eddie J. Walton, 54, Terre Haute. Booked 10:29 a.m. Probation violation.

Katie N. McIntosh, 26, 800 block of South 19th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 10:54 a.m. Bond revocation.

Carl E. Scherb, 37, 1600 block of Sixth Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 11:49 a.m. Court order.

Adrian M. Morris, 28, 100 block of Harrison Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 12:02 p.m. Operating while intoxicated and bond revocation (two counts).

Craig A. Shepard, 33, 300 block of South Eighth Street, West Terre Haute. Booked 12:19 p.m. Neglect of a dependent and possession of paraphernalia.

John R. Eldred, 26, 3200 block of Washington Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 3:21 p.m. Failure to appear.

Annette L. Turner, 25, 700 block of Gilbert Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 4:17 p.m. Failure to appear and driving while suspended.

Samuel R. Yagow, 31, 4800 block of South Lost Street, Terre Haute. Booked 6:50 p.m. Domestic battery.

Dane S. Boykins, 20, 10 block of North 12th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 10:58 p.m. Criminal trespassing.


Dustin E. Smith, 28, 600 block of South 15th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 1:18 a.m. Failure to appear.

Jeffrey K. Rich, 51, 1900 block of Frisco Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 1:57 a.m. Battery.

Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
