Vigo County Jail Log: May 30, 2014

TERRE HAUTE — The following individuals were booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Thursday and Friday, based on jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

Thursday

Ronald E. Hinkle Sr., 49, 2900 block of North Beecher Place, West Terre Haute. Booked 8:27 a.m. Probation violation.

Kevin D. Carlson, 48, 3400 block of Gun Club Road, Clinton. Booked 11:35 a.m. Probation violation, arson and resisting law enforcement.

Jesse V. Schane, 23, 10 block of South Pine Street, Brazil. Booked 11:38 a.m. Failure to appear.

Natasha D. Mershon, 32, 2200 block of College Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 1:20 p.m. Court order, forgery, bank fraud and check fraud.

Jessica N. Whalen, 25, 900 block of North 15th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 1:58 p.m. Driving while suspended and criminal conversion.

Abraham H. Vestal, 32, 4300 block of South Sixth Street, Terre Haute. Booked 3:35 p.m. Receiving stolen property and burglary.

Randy W. Rigsby, 21, 300 block of North Studio Street, Terre Haute. Booked 5:38 p.m. Criminal conversion.

David R. Webb, 33, 1600 block of East Lake Drive, Sullivan. Booked 5:39 p.m. Failure to appear and probation violation.

Joshua K. Wimmer, 29, 600 block of East Pinckley Street, Brazil. Booked 6:25 p.m. Contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Ashley N. Haney, 22, 4300 block of North 18th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 6:59 p.m. Probation violation.

James M. Pifer, 24, 16200 block of South Indiana 63, Prairie Creek. Booked 8:59 p.m. Failure to appear.

Kande Bagandi, 27, Terre Haute. Booked 10:18 p.m. Felony police battery, serious battery, criminal mischief, resisting law enforcement and battery by body waste.

Alexander P. Long, 30, 2200 block of Sycamore Street, Terre Haute. Booked 11:43 p.m. Possession of marijuana/hash, possession of paraphernalia and probation violation.

Friday

Tonya K. Elliott, 33, 10 block of East Paris Avenue, West Terre Haute. Booked 12:01 a.m. Failure to appear.

Ronnie L. Lafluer, 30, 1200 block of North 11th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 12:30 a.m. Possession of methamphetamine.

Theodore Braun, 33, 900 block of South Fourth Street, Terre Haute. Booked 2:48 a.m. Nonsupport of a child.

Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
