Vigo County Jail Log: July 1, 2014

TERRE HAUTE — The following individuals were booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Monday and Tuesday, based on jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

Monday

Joseph P. Dahlstrom, 22, Brazil. Booked 9:24 a.m. Court order (two counts).

Jason J. Hurtt, 31, 2400 block of North 16th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 11:14 a.m. Failure to appear.

Dakota A. Joy, 21, 1800 block of North 24th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 11:38 a.m. Burglary, theft and fraud.

John E. Lewis, 34, 600 block of Indiana Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 1:31 p.m. Possession of marijuana/hash and court order.

Ann C. Tillman, 44, 600 block of North Meridian Street, Brazil. Booked 4:18 p.m. Operating while intoxicated and battery by body waste.

Bryan Reed, 33, 3600 block of Reflections Lane, Indianapolis. Booked 5:17 p.m. Probation violation.

Michael A. Holman, 32, 300 block of South 14th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 7:48 p.m. False reporting/informing and failure to appear.

Tuesday

Ernest E. Hughes, 22, Terre Haute. Booked 1:19 a.m. Failure to appear.

Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
