Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.


Craig L. Black, 44, 1900 block of Second Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 9:07 a.m. Failure to appear and bond revocation.

Eliza N. Scherb, 30, 2000 block of North 11th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 10;15 a.m. Failure to appear.

Jeffrey L. Stough, 47, 500 block of South Jefferson Street, Bowling Green. Booked 1:01 p.m. Failure to appear.

Christopher S. Newman, 24, 100 block of South First Street, Terre Haute. Booked 2:24 p.m. Bond revocation.

Allison R. Wheeler, 38, 100 block of South First Street, Terre Haute. Booked 2:31 p.m. Bond revocation.

Virginia R. Cheesman, 35, 2900 block of North 15th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 2:46 p.m. Failure to appear (two counts).

Marc W. Weston, 47, Riley. Booked 5:33 p.m. Criminal recklessness.

James R. Church, 55, Terre Haute. Booked 5:50 p.m. Child molesting and child pornography.

Heather L. Gilleland, 30, 8500 block of North County Road 225 West, Brazil. Booked 6:47 p.m. Court order.

Webb Fisher Jr., 19, 2400 block of West Curry Drive, Terre Haute. Booked 8:42 p.m. Domestic battery.

Bryan J. Owen, 55, 800 block of Oak Street, Terre Haute. Booked 11:01 p.m. Criminal trespassing.


Terry W. Wilson, 26, 2200 block of Sycamore Street, Terre Haute. Booked 1:46 a.m. Driver never licensed and failure to appear.

Samuel N. Wautelet, 26, 2300 block of South 18th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 5:02 p.m. Operating while intoxicated and possession of paraphernalia.

Cordell M. Wells, 23, 2100 block of Cleveland Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 9:37 a.m. Battery.

Wayne Hoffman, 64, 2200 block of Tabortown Street, Terre Haute. Booked 3:35 p.m. Operating while intoxicated.

Sania S. Wrin, 20, Ericson Hall, Indiana State University, Terre Haute. Booked 6:40 p.m. Criminal conversion.

Jessie L. Persinger, 34, 100 block of Sotuh Crowder Street, Sullivan. Booked 8:53 p.m. Failure to appear.

John H. Morris, 64, 900 block of South Sixth Street, Terre Haute. Booked 9:52 p.m. Theft.

Richard E. Tompkins, 49, 1400 block of First Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 10:09 p.m. Dealing marijuana/hash.

Michael J. Yankovich, 39, 8800 block of Bono Road, Terre Haute. Booked 10:36 p.m. Domestic battery.
