Vigo County Jail Log: March 6, 2014

TERRE HAUTE — The following individuals were booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Wednesday and Thursday, based on jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.


Jason W. Cunningham, 32, 2000 block of South Park Street, Terre Haute. Booked 9:42 a.m. Bond revocation.

Angela L. Elliott, 40, 1500 block of North Plum Street, Terre Haute. Booked 10:29 a.m. Receiving stolen property and failure to appear.

Courtney L. Anderson, 24, 2900 block of Dean Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 11:46 a.m. Failure to appear.

Damaris Gonzalez, 38, 12100 block of South Indiana 63, Terre Haute. Booked 1:30 p.m. Criminal conversion.

Ricky W. Brown, 22, 6400 block of North Robertson Street, Terre Haute. Booked 2:14 p.m. Failure to appear.

Dustin L. Petrosky, 31, 2200 block of North Tabortown Road, Terre Haute. Booked 2:18 p.m. Failure to appear.

Matthew B. Pugh, 21, 9700 block of South Murphy Road, Brazil. Booked 3:32 p.m. Failure to appear and criminal conversion.

Robert L. Carter, 28, 1400 block of South 11th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 5:08 p.m. Failure to appear.

Rita E. Hopson, 40, 900 block of North Third Street, Terre Haute. Booked 5:30 p.m. Domestic battery.

April E. Montgomery, 34, 1900 block of Sixth Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 5:57 p.m. Receiving stolen property, obstructing justice, unauthorized entry of motor vehicle and probation violation.

Elisa Willis, 31, 1400 block of North 29th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 6:34 p.m. Theft, obstructing justice and unauthorized entry of motor vehicle.

James M. Whitner, 56, 1600 block of South 11th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 6:56 p.m. Failure to appear.

Lanea I. Morson, 39, 400 block of Poplar Street, Cayuga. Booked 8:59 p.m. Criminal conversion.

Mark E. Hall, 50, 2300 block of Washington Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 10:40 p.m. Theft, public intoxication and resisting law enforcement.


Jeremy R. Montgomery, 34, 600 block of East 43 1/2 Drive, Terre Haute. Domestic battery and battery.

Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
