• If you didn’t compete in this tournament, bowlers have another opportunity to “Shootout” — this time at Vigo Bowl.
Vigo’s Team Shootout is Nov. 20-21, with basically the same format. Entry fee is $70. Five games will be rolled on Nov. 21 (1 p.m.) and five more on Nov. 22 (noon).
Teams will be randomly drawn prior to bowling on Nov. 20.
• The Josh Combs Memorial Adult/Youth No-Tap Tournament returns for a second year at 1 p.m. on Dec. 12 at the Terre Haute Bowling Center. Check-in time is noon.
These are two-person teams, rolling three games (handicap) in four average divisions. If you’re not familiar with bowling parlance, “no-tap” means if you knock down nine pins or more on your first shot, that is scored as a strike.
All prizes awarded to junior bowlers are in the form of scholarships.
