Query: Looking for the parents of Martha Myers Thornton (1841-1875), who was the first wife of Daniel Thornton (1835-1904). Daniel’s sister, Susannah, married a John Myers (1837-1910). I believe that John and Martha Myers may be siblings. There was a Martha Myers, 16 years old, on the 1860 census in Vermillion County, Indiana, living with the John Humrichous family. This may be my Martha because she married Daniel in Vermillion County in 1861. This family is associated with Vermillion County, Indiana, and Edgar County, Illinois. If you have any info on this family please contact me. Thank you. Cathea Curry, PO Box 533, Piedmont OK 73078, e-mail CatheaC@sbcglobal.net.
