• Coles County, Illinois, photos needed! My name is Alicia Woolridge Morgason and I am helping with the research for a documentary featuring the former Coles County Poor Farm (also known as the Almshouse). Anyone with historic photos of the building, or employees and residents of the building, are welcome to contact me. Also, since the likelihood of getting the quantity of photos needed for this project may be much lower than what we would like, photos of any families living in Coles County or photos taken within the county of other businesses, homes, landmarks, etc., will be welcomed. We are looking for photos within the time range of 1880-1940. Thank you in advance to all who are willing to participate and submit photos. Respectfully, Alicia Woolridge Morgason, Genealogist/Local Historian/Moultrie County Historical & Genealogical Society Webmaster, at email abcm191c@one-eleven.net.

• Wanted: Photos of Lawrenceville, Ill., stores, 1865-1900. Hoping that, after searching almost 10 years, I may locate someone who may have some photos of the Wagon Shop and/or Farm Implement store in Lawrenceville, Lawrence County, Ill., from the late 1800s. My great-great-grandfather, Joseph Trimble White, died in 1904. He owned and operated a wagon and repair shop in Lawrenceville until his death then. I am looking for any photos of Lawrenceville from 1865 to 1900 that show his wagon and repair shop. Also looking for photos and information on the Lumber, Grain, & Agricultural Implements store owned by Hardacre & Musgrove during the same time. Joseph’s son, Thomas Hayman White, married Nancy Hardacre in Lawrenceville in 1892. Please contact Gerald White at email gerite@knology.net. Thank you.

• I am searching for information concerning the family of Kenneth and Florence Bare of Lawrenceville, Lawrence County, Ill. Kenneth and Florence’s eldest son was Charles Edgar. Charles was the first of 12 children. He was born Nov. 6, 1939. If someone would fill me in on the other 11 children and Florence’s maiden name I would be grateful. Thank you, Lawrence Bergeron at email larrybergeron@earthlink.net.

• Looking for the parents of William J. Sizemore, 1893-1947. Draft cards show he was born in Lafayette Twp., Coles County, or Charleston, Coles County, Ill. I know he was living in Edgar County, Ill., by 1924. He married Naomi Ogle and had twin sons who died at birth, or soon after birth, along with their mother. The family is buried in Edgar Cemetery in Paris, Ill.  Any information is appreciated. Contact Lorraine Hall by email at
