PREP: Doubles play helps Rockville get past Turkey Run in boys tennis

ROCKVILLE — Rockville got wins from both of its doubles duos to edge visiting Turkey Run 3-2 in boys high school tennis Friday.



Rockville 3, Turkey Run 2

Singles — Lucas Rowe (R) def. George Munoz 6-7 (3-7), 6-1, 6-1; Brock Mitchell (TR) def. Chance Becker 6-0, 6-0; Hunter Uplinger (TR) def. Dakota Whitmer 6-2, 1-6, 7-6 (7-5).

Doubles — Ben Paddock-Shane Slaven (R) def. Seth Jones-Tanner Newcomb 6-1, 6-1; Lance Hopkins-Cole Butler (R) def. Austin Hartman-Jacob Fougeron 6-2, 6-0.
