Prep roundup: Eighth-ranked Panthers win at Shakamak in girls basketball

JASONVILLE — Sara Dickey had a game-high 20 points and Paige Yando added 12 Tuesday night as Class A’s eighth-ranked Riverton Parke High School girls basketball team won 63-37 at Shakamak.

Kelsey Pilant had 17 points for the Lakers.

Boys basketball



Casey 73, Marshall 37 — At Marshall, Ill., the visitors dominated the Clark County Little Illini Conference action Tuesday night.

Brandon Wolfe led the 2-0 Warriors with 19 points. Zack Murphy and Sam Huisinga each had 11 for the winners and Matt McCown tallied eight.

Taylor Maurer had nine points for the 4-2 Lions.

Casey closed the first period with a 13-6 run and took a 24-15 into the second stanza. Wolfe had 10 of his points in the first quarter.

The Warriors used an 11-2 run to take a 35-17 lead and were up 39-21 at halftime.

Trivette Scales missed the game for Casey due to an injury, while Keegan Steele was sidelined with the flu for the Lions.
