PREP ROUNDUP: Rockville's perfect season continues

ROCKVILLE — Class A No. 1 Rockville stayed unbeaten with a 79-39 boys basketball victory against Riverton Parke.

Lane Mahurin led four Rox players in double figures with 29 points. Gary Ulrich hit five 3-pointers and finished with 17 points, while Joel Wittenmyer added 14 and Keontre Wilkey 10.

Matthew Haltom paced the Panthers with 15.

• Barr-Reeve 60, Shakamak 52 — At Montgomery, Shakamak’s two-game win streak was broken and the Lakers fell to 7-9.

• North Daviess 62, Clay City 47 — At Elnora, Clay City fell to 8-7 and 2-2 in the SWIAC as the Class A No. 9 Cougars prevailed.

• Shoals 52, Union 48 — At Dugger, Union (0-14) remained winless in a nonconference loss to the Jug Rox.

• Robinson 69, Flora 58 — At Casey, Ill., Aaron Siler led four Maroons in double figures in the Little Illini Conference Tournament third-place game.

Siler had 22 while Derrick Nicholas scored 15, Brayden Scott 13 and Michael Akande 10 for Robinson.
