Coaches’ quotes — Boehler on his squad: “I thought we played one really poor half against Shakamak and that cost us the game. Hopefully, we can get back on the right track and get moving in the right direction.”

Boehler on playing the Mustangs: “They play extremely hard. They’re our defending sectional champions. … They’re one of the better defensive teams on our schedule.”

Boehler on playing the Huskies: “They’re very athletic. They have almost everybody back from their team last year … and they play a very difficult schedule. We’re just going to have to try to find a way to contain them a little bit.”

Farmer on his squad: “After Christmas, we’ve been playing fairly decent, but we can’t seem to finish games. Against Sullivan, we were trailing 41-40 and we scored five points in the fourth quarter. … At times, we play hard. At other times, we don’t. This team is still trying to find its identity and it just hasn’t happened yet.”

Farmer on playing the Vikings: “From what I hear, they’re playing pretty well. It looks like another team that’s pretty comparable to us. If we play competitive, we could beat them. If we don’t, we’ll get beat.”

Bunnell on his squad: “With our team, we’ve played a really tough schedule. We like where we’re at right now. We feel like we’re really improving.”

Bunnell on playing the Vikings: “I like their team. I feel like they’re really well-coached and well-organized. They’ve got really good balance. They play hard. I think coach Boehler does a really good job with them.”
