Preps: North fifth, South eighth in Conference Indiana golf

COLUMBUS — Terre Haute North freshman Megan Ramer became the first Vigo County athlete to earn all-Conference Indiana honors on Monday when the Patriot golfer placed fourth at the Conference Indiana tournament for girls golf at Harrison Lake Country Club.

Ramer’s score of 85 was the highlight of the day for the conference newcomers, as her team placed fifth and Terre Haute South eighth. Allie Danielson of the Braves shot a 94, the only other Terre Haute player to break 100.
