TERRE HAUTE — Rain and the threat of more rain caused postponements of high school baseball regionals involving Terre Haute North, West Vigo and Shakamak on Saturday.

North will return to Avon on Monday to face Brownsburg in Class 4A action, but at 1 p.m. instead of the 10 a.m. start that had been scheduled for Saturday. Indianapolis Cathedral and Greenfield-Central are scheduled to play the second game, with the championship now scheduled at 8 p.m.

At Mount Vernon (Fortville), the Class 3A regional will also begin later. Danville and Brebeuf start at 1 p.m., with West Vigo meeting Crawfordsville no earlier than 3. Championship play there is also scheduled for 8 p.m.

Starting times are unchanged at the Class A Morristown Regional, where Rising Sun plays University at 10 a.m. followed by Shakamak against Indianapolis Lutheran at 12:30 p.m. The championship game there is 6 p.m.
