North, South fall athletes honored by MIC

TERRE HAUTE — A total of 16 Vigo County high school athletes were honored this week as the Metropolitan Interscholastic Conference presented its fall sports awards.

Members of the all-MIC teams from Terre Haute North and Terre Haute South are as follows:



Boys cross country — John Mascari and Brandon Query, North.

Girls cross country — Emily Cotterman, North.

Football — Bryn Schwartz, QB, South; Billy Sisson, TE, North.

Girls golf — Sloane Engle and Kelsey Fuqua, South; Rachel Welker, North.

Boys soccer — Zach Pigg, South; Alex Walter, North.

Girls soccer — Kayla Liffick, South; Kelly Meggs, North.

Boys tennis — Todd Butwin, North.

Volleyball — Laura Mauer, North; Brittany Pugh and Amy Telezyn, South.
