The No. 9-ranked Terre Haute South Braves warmed up for this weekend’s tennis sectioal action with a victory against Vincennes Lincoln on Tuesday at home.
South won all of the matches in straight sets and finished 12-1 for the regular season.

• Terre Haute South 151, Linton 156 — At Phil Harris Course in Linton, Terre Haute South won the dual match, but the Miners’ Kent George enjoyed a fun nine-hole round.
Not only did George earn medalist honors with a 33 on the back nine at the Phil Harris Course, he fired an eagle on the par-5 12th hole and he topped that with a hole-in-one on the 130-yard 14th hole.
