Prep Roundup: North pitches well, but can’t outhit No. 3 Carmel

Carmel —
Visiting Terre Haute North wasted two strong pitching performances Saturday in dropping a Metropolitan Interscholastic Conference high school baseball doubleheader at Carmel.
J.T. Bailey pitched a complete game in the opener and Brandon Dorsett allowed just one run in the first six innings of the second game against the state’s third-ranked team, but North got just seven hits for the day in losing 3-1 and 4-0.
