WIC girls track: West Vigo gets three winners, Northview takes second

Ellettsville — In cold, wet conditions Wednesday, Northview settled for second place at the Western Indiana Conference girls track meet.

West Vigo was not too far behind in fourth and Sullivan took fifth.

West Vigo freshman Brittany Solomon won the 110-meter hurdles, senior Haleigh Sanders won the 400 and was a part of the Vikings’ victorious 1,600 relay team.

Kylee Thacker won the mile for the Knights, with Samantha Solomon winning discus and Sara Niehaus winning long jump.

The boys WIC meet scheduled for Thursday has been postponed until Saturday at 10 a.m.
