Maple Center program on healthy holiday ideas Dec. 10

TERRE HAUTE — “Surviving the Holidays and Staying Healthy” will be presented from 6 to 7 p.m. Dec. 10 in the Education Classroom of UAP Clinic at 1429 N. Sixth St.

Cost is $5 per person. Register by Dec. 6 by calling The Maple Center for Integrative Health at 812-234-8733.

Find out how to gain energy and feel great during the holidays with eating and exercise ideas that are actually do-able amid the hustle and bustle. Substitutions and how to be successful the day of a holiday event will be discussed along with how to recover if you overindulge. There will also be an opportunity to sample some of Melissa Schollaert’s favorite holiday recipes.

Schollaert received her training from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, where she was trained in more than 100 dietary theories and studied a variety of practical lifestyle coaching methods.

The Maple Center for Integrative Health, founded in 2004 in Terre Haute, is dedicated to providing integrative health consultations for all ages and to providing educational programs to empower and enrich men and women.
