TERRE HAUTE —

Hamilton Center honored its National Health Service Corps Scholars commemorating NHSC Community Week on Oct. 19. Scholars in each service location were honored for providing essential services to those clients who would not otherwise have access to behavioral health services. Hamilton Center CEO Mel Burks and staff celebrate the following clinicians:

Vermillion County: Sally Harris, MS; LMHC, Rosita Fernandez, MS; and Rebecca Smith, MSW, LCSW.

Greene County: Tiffany Leonard, LMHC; Pamela Curry, MS; Monica Erk, MA; David Pryor, MSW; Carolyn Suniga, MSW, LSW and Regina Hildenbrand, LMHC.

Sullivan County: Melissa Bass, LCSW and Diana Shelton, LMHC, who just completed her term.

Nearly 10,000 National Health Service Corps clinicians are treating some 10.4 million people in underserved communities nationwide.

“We recognize the contribution of our NHSC staff in our rural office locations as we put “clients first, always,” Burks said.
