GriefShare Support Group meets from 6:30 to 8 p.m. each Wednesday through April 30, at World Gospel Church, 900 Gardendale Road. This is a nondenominational group using biblical teaching on grief and recovery topics. Classes are free and include a discussion and video seminar. Stroke support group for survivors and family meets at 6 p.m. every third Thursday at the Medical Rehab Unit, fourth floor of Union Hospital East, 1606 N. National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), the Wabash Valley affiliate for improving the lives of people afflicted by serious and persistent mental illness, meets from 6:30 to 8 p.m. every third Thursday at Memorial United Methodist Church, 2701 Poplar St. Call Betty Porter at 812-877-9950.

Wabash Valley Breast Cancer Survivors, for people who have or previously have had breast cancer, meets at 10:30 a.m. every second Saturday in the back room of MCL Cafeteria at The Meadows shopping center, 25th Street and Ohio Boulevard. Living in Full Everyday (LIFE) is a free program to help cancer patients get the most out of life by taking control.
