MDwise to host free Affordable Care Act chats

TERRE HAUTE — MDwise Marketplace will host several free sessions to answer questions about the Affordable Care Act through Nov. 15 in the Vigo County Public Library at Seventh and Poplar streets.

MDwise is Indiana’s only not-for-profit health care company that is contracted with the State of Indiana to provide Medicaid coverage for Hoosier Healthwise, Healthy Indiana Plan and Care Select plan members. MDwise also has been awarded the opportunity to participate in the Affordable Care Act’s Indiana Marketplace.

Sessions are:

Thursday: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., meeting room B

Monday: 1 to 4 p.m., meeting room C

Nov. 7: 10 a.m. to 12 noon, meeting room A

Nov. 8: 12 noon to 2 p.m., meeting room D

Nov. 9: 2 to 4 p.m., meeting room A

Nov. 12: 3:30 to 7:30 p.m., Community Connections, one-on-one sessions or walk ups

Nov. 14: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Community Connections, one-on-one sessions or walk ups

Nov. 15: 4 to 6 p.m., meeting room A

MDwise is a local, Indiana-based nonprofit health care company, founded in 1994 by the Health and Hospital Corp. of Marion County and Indiana University Health to help vulnerable populations needing health coverage in Indiana.
