TERRE HAUTE —
Senior Education Ministries Inc. will host another Dine with a Doc event from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on June 26 at the Wabash Senior Citizen’s Center, 300 S. Fifth St.
Dr. Kurt Madsen, orthopedic surgeon, will be the featured speaker.
Madsen is serving as medical director for the sports/industrial rehabilitation program at Sullivan County Community Hospital. He has performed procedures at SCCH, including kyphoplasty, total joint replacement and fracture repair.
Madsen graduated from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. He specializes in orthopedics and orthopedic surgery. He has a private practice and is affiliated with Terre Haute Regional Hospital and Sullivan Community Hospital.
A question-and-answer session will follow his presentation.
A free lunch will be provided by Sycamore Manor Senior Living.
There will be a prayer and devotion at the beginning of the program, and veterans will be recognized.
Health care providers will share information about their services and provide door prizes.
There will also be a “Wellness Clinic,” by Robin Collins of Springhill Village, to provide with blood sugar and blood pressure information.
