TERRE HAUTE —
Two local organizations will benefit from the Vigo County Medical Alliance’s annual fundraising event.
Alliance representatives recently presented checks to Indigent Care and St. Ann Medical and Dental Services.
Each organization received $3,850. Proceeds from this year’s annual style show-luncheon also marked a record amount raised by the alliance.
The alliance is an organization of physicians’ spouses, representing Terre Haute Regional and Union hospitals, who advocate for the improvement of the health and welfare of the Terre Haute community. The alliance, founded in 1927, supports St. Ann Medical and Dental Services and Indigent Care, and sponsors Stop America’s Violence Everywhere Day Program in Vigo County schools, the Council on Domestic Abuse and Meals-On-Wheels.
