---- — Paris (Ill.) Community Hospital/Family Medical Center will offer dermatology services in its Visiting Specialty Clinic in January.

Jeremy Youse, MD, board certified dermatologist, and Sarah Minarick, PA-C (certified physician assistant), will see patients on Mondays beginning Jan. 6. Their office hours will be 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. One of the two providers will be available each Monday during those times. Both providers are from Christie Clinic’s dermatology department in Champaign.

As specialists in dermatology, Youse and Minarick will evaluate and treat problems of the skin, including warts, benign and malignant skin growths (such as moles and skin cancer), rashes, hives, eczema and psoriasis.

Additionally, Youse is a Mayo Clinic, fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon who performs Mohs Micrographic Surgery for skin cancer removal. Mohs surgery has higher cure rates than nearly all other forms of treatment because of the way the removed tissue is microscopically examined. This ensures complete cancer removal during surgery, virtually eliminating the chance of the cancer growing back and minimizing the amount of healthy tissue lost.

Youse also has a special interest in laser and cosmetic procedures.
